Q. Where are the parties held?
A. Petite Princess Parlour is a dedicated party venue, specialising in hosting all inclusive chic parties in a location oozing girly glamour. Convenient location on Brisbane's Northside at North Lakes, just off the Bruce Highway
Q. What are standard party inclusions?
A. Our Deluxe party includes Birthday Gift, crystal tiara to keep, minimum of two hostesses, 5 choice Lolly/Drink Buffet, Petite Treatments, Cupcake Tower, Printed Invitations, Deluxe take home party Boxes, 2 Party games and prizes, Singing, Dancing, Spa Gowns, souvenir photo, laughter, fun and so much more. Please check individual Party descriptions for more information. We have many other party packages available that include more treatments!
Q. What age does Petite Princess Parlour offer parties for?
A. Petite Princess Parlour Deluxe parties are offered for girls ages 5 to 13. Our Deluxe parties are a structured event, which is harder to maintain for children under 5. We do have Mini Party options for Princesses under 5. Many of our supplies and accessories contain small parts and are not appropriate for children 3 years old and under. Safety first at Petite Princess Parlour!
Q. How do I reserve a party date?
A. You can fill out our online reservation form or call us to reserve your party date. Parties are booked on a first come, first served basis. Once you have selected a party date and time, a deposit of $165 is required to secure the reservation, the deposit is applied to your final party balance. This deposit is non refundable. We also offer a payment plan to make budgeting for your Petite Princess Parlour a breeze.
Q. Is the birthday girl included in the number of guests per party package?
A. Yes, all party numbers are inclusive of the birthday girl eg 10 guests in total includes birthday girl. After careful planning and trialling, it has been determined that our parties work best with the recommended number of guests mentioned in package descriptions
Q. What is the fee for additional guests?
A. Our party prices are based on 6-15 guests, including Birthday girl, depending on package chosen. Careful planning and trialling has gone into our parties structure and parties run best with recommended guest numbers. If you require additional guests to attend please be aware that the individual treatment times will be lessened and timing will be affected. Extra guests incur an additional per head charge, please see Party Packages for these costs
Q. Will there be more than 1 party hostess?
A. Parties will have 1 Senior party hostess, and a junior hostess to assist. We strive to ensure the smooth flow of your party. In the event that guest numbers require an extra assistant, a $50 charge will be incurred
Q. Do I need to advise Petite Princess Parlour of final guest numbers before the party date?
A. Yes, you will be contacted by Petite Princess Parlour several days prior to your party date to go over final party details, arrange final payment and get a final RSVP count for your party. RSVP counts are VERY important so that we are prepared to accommodate your party based on your needs. Only your guests with food allergies will be required to RSVP via Petite Princess Parlour's unique online RSVP form, giving both you and us important information about guest requirements. We will endeavor to accommodate food allergies, but this is not always possible.
Q. What happens if a child included in final RSVP does not arrive, do I still pay for that child?
A. Yes, you will be charged for all guests included in final number given to us even if they do not arrive for the party
Q. What happens if a guest arrives late?
A. Petite Princess Parlour Parties are based on a tight schedule, the parties work best when all guest arrive on time. Please advise your guests to arrive promptly. Guests coming late may join the party at whatever point it has progressed to. This is necessary in order to provide the least amount of disruption to the party.
Q. Can parents of guests stay for the party?
A. Petite Princess Parlour Parties are high energy parties with dress up, mini makeovers, games and lots of movement. Unfortunately, due to the 'petite' nature of our venue, there is not enough room for spectators to be in the Party Room. Not only does this cause distraction to our little guests, it is also a safety issue. Please advise invited guests parents that staying in the Parlour is discouraged, however we do have a Parent's seating just outside the door, Spotlight and SuperCheap right upstairs, and there are several coffee shops in easy walking distance so parents can stay close by.
Q. Do I need to bring anything?
A. Our Deluxe parties require you to bring nothing more than an excited Birthday Girl, a big box/bag to take home all the pressies and don't forget your camera!
Q. Can I bring my own food?
A. No, due to very strict council laws and spot checks regarding food service, we are unable to serve any food items that have come from outside sources not prepared in a registered food kitchen with council approval number. Cakes from licensed cake decorators are allowed with proof of licencing. This includes home made cakes, sandwiches and anything requiring refrigeration. Our parties are treatment focused and food served is appropriate for the activities being undertaken at our parties. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but we are bound by council rules of operation.
Q. What happens if I have to cancel or reschedule my party?
A. In the event you have to cancel our service for any reason, party deposits are non-refundable or exchangeable for any other service. If you have a scheduling conflict and/or illness that prevents you from having the party, Petite Princess Parlour will work with you to reschedule your party within 30 days or first available party time.
Q. What happens if the Birthday Princess gets sick?
A. In the case of illness of Birthday Princess, we will reschedule your party. If this should happen, we will gladly work with you to pick a new date and time for your event within 30 days. In such event, there will be and additional cost of $11 to resupply invitations to you.
Q. What happens if a guest has food allergies?
A. If a guest should have severe food allergies, we recommend that either you or the child’s parents provide an alternate menu for that child. We can provide for basic food allergies/requests, but only if we are aware of them. Our online RSVP form will advise us of any special requirements your guests may have.
Q. What form of payment does Petite Princess Parlour accept?
A. Petite Princess Parlour accepts EFT, cash or credit card for deposits. ALL party balances must be paid before the day of your event.
Q. What days are available for Petite Princess Parlour parties?
A. Petite Princess Parlour is available for your private party bookings on Thursdays and Friday PM, Saturdays and Sundays and of course any other times by request.
